Large pothole in front of pinch point., 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 20:31:50 +0000
50.84141 -1.121186

There is a large twin pothole to the east side of the pinch point, which is hard to avoid and yanks the steering wheel dangerously toward oncoming traffic. Whilst looking into this pair of holes, please could the whole road and manholes be evaluated for depth and condition, as driving along Whitehart Road and Cornaway Lane to the BP garage roundabout is an uncomfortable experience.

The pothole has been here for a few weeks, is quite large and deep, and is located at the junction of Portsdown Rd and Neelands Grove. It has been repaired several times in the last few years, and has now opened up again. Due to the boundary line between Portsmouth and Hampshire councils, there has previously been dispute on whose responsibility it is to fix this.

Deep puddles, 25th January

Thu, 25 Jan 2024 09:44:18 +0000
50.845763 -1.155825

Hello, over the course of a couple of years, this pathway has eroded creating X very deep puddles, which are impossible for small dogs and people in wheelchairs and the elderly. It is quite difficult to pass for anyone. Unless you are wearing wellingtons boots. Lots of children use this path when making a shortcut across the correct to make their way to and from school cams Hill school when there is torrential rain, the puddles can be as high as 20 cm in the deep parts. There are two major models which need filling in. there is obviously a lot of heavy vehicle passing down this particular area as the council come to cut the grass and collect waste bins. This long with weather has caused these deep puddles. Thanks kindly
