There is a large twin pothole to the east side of the pinch point, which is hard to avoid and yanks the steering wheel dangerously toward oncoming traffic. Report on FixMyStreet
Approximately 300m west of Dstl on the south side of the road at the point where the road narrows and bends slightly, the edge of the road has eroded significantly creating a gully at least 8-12" deep and 2 feet wide which is forcing vehicles to move across into the other lane thereby significantly increasing the risk of hitting eastbound vehicles., 7th March
This bend is probably the most dangerous part of Portsdown Hill Road and forces vehicles to pass at unsafe minimum distances. The condition of the edge of the road has been deteriorating for some months to the point where a 3-4m long stretch is now untenable for all vehicles.
