PE5 is also well connected by road and bus routes, with several of these services operated by Stagecoach, such as the S4, and S1. It also has good access to motorways and the A1. The postcode district is also within easy reach of two airports, Southend and Luton, and the Peterborough railway station with its direct service to London Kings Cross.

There is a range of housing available across the district, from traditional terraced cottages and detached homes to modern apartments and new-build estates. Prices on property vary depending on the type of property and location, but generally the area offers good value for money. Rental prices are also competitive, and there is a wide range of options available and affordable for most young people and families, as well as professionals.
