Large pothole on the road leading to footpath that leads to ramp and entrance to the village hall which is ued by villagers of all ages and especially senior citizens and one gentleman who is in a motorised large wheelchair there are several potholes on the edge of our car park but the one near the entrance path is the worst, 15th March
The pothole has been here for the whole of the winter , some potholes in the village have been fixed but not the ones near the village hall.

Missing footpath signs, 26th December
There should be a sign pointing the path across the field towards Fincham but it is missing and has been for several months. Likewise there should be a sign pointing acorss the field to connect to the path to Hall Farm but there is not. The signs are important as the field is ploughed and the paths are not apparent.

Footpath signs missing, 26th December
There should be a signpost pointing the path across the field towards Fincham but it is missing as is one pointing across the field to connect to the path to Hall Farm. The signs are important because the fields are ploughed and sown so the presence of paths is not obvious.

Terrible uneven road, 17th March
The stretch of road from the junction of A134 along Mill Lane to Shouldham is an unacceptable road surface . On numerous occasions I have been narrowly missed by cars driving in the middle of the road towards me as both sides of the road surface have been repaired badly, the surface is patchy, uneven, with pot holes and a dangerous camber . I live in Shoudham and have to travel on this road daily - I recently suffered a puncture after travelling along that stretch of road and I am sure it was partly due to the state of the road .

There are a number of potholes around the green, 27th September

There is a fallen tree that is hanging over the road enough for me to have hit my wing mirror on whilst passing an oncoming car. It’s smashed the wing mirror and looks like other people have done the same judging by the state of the tree.

Loose drain cover in High Street which clanks very loudly every time a vehicle drives over it, which can be every few seconds at peak times., 15th May
I am aware that the badly fitting drain cover in Fincham High Street (A1122) outside Hardley House has been clanking loudly with every vehicle axle that drives over it for several YEARS and that this has been reported many times to Norfolk County Council. Road maintenance in the village is tough as the road is main route for beet lorries and RAF traffic but the infrequency and quality of repairs is distressing, especially for the elderly Lady at Hardley House.
