Very poor road surface, uneven and potholed, 16th April
The problem is at the bad corner on the A761 where the grip surface has become really uneven with potholes covering a majority of the area. It is a bad bend at the best of times however it's now dangerous due to the condition of the road and road users are having to try and avoid these potholes whilst navigating the corner. This has been this way for a while however s getting progressively worse

Road surface wearing away , pothole, 8th March
3 serious accidents in last few weeks here - blocked gully , crumbling road, pothole. Drivers seem to be swerving to avoid it . Holes also on the anti skid surface at the corner between here and Burndale. This is a 60mph rd and there have now been multiple head on collisions . Potholes on either side of island and missing reflective bollard, 5th February
Either side of the island as you enter and exit the village has unavoidable potholes that have worsened with the bad weather and are becoming a risk of a puncture. They have been here for a few months now. There is also the issue of the reflective bollards. They were repaired a couple weeks ago and now the reflective sign as you leave the village is lying on the verge further down the road. Surely there is a better solution for this as it is an ongoing issue for them to be knocked off. It is a safety issue when driving in the dark.
