Grass verge in front of wall is being reduced in width by larger vehicles and the retaining wall is in danger of collapsing into the road., 14th March
Chris Fieldhouse 1 Sycamore Close, Sibford Gower.
The problem is on the public road, not Sycamore Close. Since the verge was used to lay broadband cables, it has not been protecting the wall it supports and is gradually disappearing altogether. If the verge is not restored to it's previous dimensions, the dry stone wall will collapse into the road, along with some of the ground in my garden, which it retains, and will almost certainly block the road.

Surface improvement request, 13th March
Reported via Countryside online map yet section referred to is HW verge. Reported as H&S issue as slippery with incline and camber towards road. Andrew Vidovic & Theresa Blacker requested to be added to FMS: 'I think we may be considering one possible solution to do wooden edgings and ‘hogging’, self-compacting material infill. The attached may be a useful design to work from, which I used for riverbank work. Just need to adapt to this situation. I will assume as this is sitting within the highway, to be added at part of the wider minor civils' Fri 8th Dec (yes delayed - sorry).

Potential tree danger, 8th March
This tree, or 1 of its main limbs is getting lower by the month. Due to its species (common osier i think) their branches /limbs tend to break when they get to a certain weight. This limb (if it falls) will fall onto the main road. When it comes into leaf, and the summer winds come, it could snap? So prevention is better than cure??

Very deep pothole, half the village has had flat tyres from it, 6th March
The council have been aware of this pothole for over a month. The only action taken was red paint around it 3 weeks ago. Then the pothole NEXT to it was filled, not the problem. Having spoken locally, about half the village has had a flat tyre from this hole. I myself have now had TWO (2) flat tyres and one damaged rim from it. This must be fixed as is causing a considerable financial loss for people which as you may appreciate, given the current "financial situation" in the country...
