Tue, 26 Feb 2019 22:09:01 +0000
52.038038 -1.485712

The pothole was not temporarily filled on the last visit. It is now much larger and the road surface all around it is showing signs of rapid degradation. As well as being an obvious safety hazard, when the pothole fills with rainwater, the cars spray dirty water over my front door and window ( see photos)

Cars being parked right on junction., 25th February

Mon, 25 Feb 2019 20:40:41 +0000
52.031859 -1.483119

Cars are parked right on the junction of Cotswold Close and Hook Norton road. This creates a major hazard when trying to exit Cots.wold Close. Double yellow lines hopefully should solve the problem if people abide by them. This is also a main route for people taking there children to the Friends School and I fear if nothing is done there will be a serious accident

In December a surveyer was in the area looking at a manhole cover. We spoke to her about our blocked surface water drains, she marked both with white paint and said they would be cleared within 28 days. This has not happened. Please look into this matter. Kind regards Maggie Stevens M

Bus Stop safety issue - Hawkes Lane, Sibford Gower, 14th February

Thu, 14 Feb 2019 10:41:43 +0000
52.038076 -1.479863

There is a bus stop at the junction of Acre Ditch and Hawks Lane in Burdrop in the Sibford Gower Parish, which serves the Johnsons 3A service between Stratford-on-Avon and Banbury. The bus stop for the Stratford bound service is well defined, and situated on a pavement on the South side of the junction. This bus stop appears to be fit for purpose as passengers are able to wait in reasonable safety on the pavement. In contrast, the bus stop for the Banbury bound service is not defined, and effectively requires passengers to wait on the highway on the North side of this blind junction. Whilst it possible for able bodied passengers to wait at the Stratford bound stop until a bus approaches, this is not feasible for passengers with limited mobility, as is the case for the Parishioner who raised the issue. Given the above circumstances, this bus stop does not appear to be fit for purpose, and I would be grateful if you could investigate the situation, with a view to proposing options for eliminating, and in the meantime, mitigating the issues raised.

I am writing to complain about the shocking state of repair of some roads in North Oxfordshire - and to inform you that our car has required two new front tyres this week thanks to deep potholes. Both incidents have already been reported to you along with pictures. The first puncture and rim damage happened on Tuesday 11th December `18 at about 5 p.m. whilst travelling to Oxford, just a mile from home near Taylors Farm. The total cost of repair was 216.39. This was for a new tyre, a tracking check, (which required adjustment at extra cost) and balancing.
