FIXMYSTREET IN MK18 1BN
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of MK18 1BN:
High Street, Buckingham opposite Verney Close, 18th April
There is a collapsed drain at the edge of the road marked with a cone. Traffic travelling from the town centre towards the Old Gaol has to swerve around it. I reported this problem last year and the problem has still not been solved.

Parking close to road junction, 18th April
Repeated parking by various vehicles causing an obstruction. Parking sometimes less than 10ft from junction makes pulling out onto Bourton Road incredibly dangerous. Regular traffic warden checks or double yellow lines are needed

Continuing: Cars parked on pavement, 18th April
Opposite the Indian Restaurant, where there are several vehicles parked on the pavement, close to the kerb, posing a danger to pedestrians, who are forced to step into the main road. This parking behaviour happens daily, mostly after 18:00 and particularly increases Fri, Sat, Sun. This has been going on for at least 18 months and was particularly dangerous during short daylight hours. It being the brighter, longer daylight hours, time of year should not be perceived a reason to let the situation continue, imo. Whilst the avdc site suggests to contact Thames Valley Police, however, the response was "Local Authority" responsible. Is this one of those cases that might fall between the cracks. If I am "knocking on the wrong door", please can someone let me know as to whom needs to be addressed. ...a pedestrian accident waiting to happen??...

Sunken drain cover, 17th April
Although this has been reported previously, nothing has happened, and the issue is getting worse. Next to the barbers there is a drain cover that is progressively getting lower. If cars are on the otherside of the road, it is completely unavoidable.

Ford focus grey, 16th April
I received a report today to say that this vehicle is taxed and insured, and that if a vehicle is left for a few days it is probably not abandoned. ref 5852242.
As i have mentioned before this vehicle has been outside of our house for over 6 months! it is no doubt a students car who has now finished studying an has left the car on the road. this is not the first time this has happened. if we wait until the tax runs out in july then the vehicle will have been there for almost a year!! we have a problem with parking in well street, because people come here to park for free unlike the car parks and buckinghamshire council has now closed the additional parking that was available to us in the well street centre, which has exacerbated the problem. please would you call me to discuss 07908584568 thank you
