Tree Preservation Order Application, 22nd September
This Oak tree is situated close to a proposed planning development (19/02856/FUL) and while there will be a RPA in effect the residents and Community Council are concerned that this may not be enough protection. Therefore to prevent any accidental damage of any kind, including the possibility of accidental felling, it is felt that a TPO would be the best protection for this oak tree. The Oak is mature and is of ecological interest in the area. There are hedgehogs, a Priority Species, squirrels, various other small mammals and insects, bats, also a Priority Species, and birds that make use of the tree, its fruits and canopy.

Crack In road causing house to shake, 23rd June
Hello, I have reported this issue previously and received response saying there was no issue. There is. Outside our house There is a very clear crack across the road. When HGVs (of which there are many) and large buses drive over it it causes our house to shake Noisily. So much so the vibrations wake us up. Whilst I appreciate that the crack itself may look minor, the implications of the crack on the integrity of the structure of our home, are not. We are considering taking formal And legal advice regarding the damage this is causing to our house. However, It could be simply rectified by fixing the huge crack in the road. Please can someone who has a bit of knowledge regarding structural damage have a look into this, rather than treating the crack like a basic pothole and stating there isn’t an issue Because it doesn’t meet your pothole thresholds. As I have raised this before, I believe that any damage caused to our home will now be the responsibility of the council. Thank you for looking into this.
