Opposite Gable End, Station Road, 14th January
Every drain in Station Road is blocked. As you enter Station Road from Winslow Road the first drain on the right is completely blocked. There is also a continual flow of water from a blocked drain close to the village school following into the road. Continue along Station Road and the next drain opposite Gable End is also blocked and over following. Whilst I appreciate we have had a lot of rain these drains haven't been cleaned for years and are always blocked. If we get a cold spell it is highly likely this toad will freeze and present a significant danger to road users and pedestrians.
