Bletchley Road, 14th January

Thu, 14 Jan 2021 10:29:47 +0000
51.946869 -0.759118

When it rains the water from Bletchley Road runs straight into my drive way instead of into the ditch or down the road. It has been doing this every time it rains and I'm very concerned that this is causing a problem with my property. I recently had a professional out to do some maintenance and he also commented on the damage that could arise.

A large pothole has appeared due to poor road surface. The road is very degraded at this point and has been steadily getting worse. There is hardly any tarmac in places.

The photo shows several green bin bags and a white appliance in front of the gate-I assume as it is in front of the gate by the side of the road this is public land. Behind the gate are two skips which look like they have been there a very long time as there is vegetation growing on them

Bletchley Road-approximately 200 to metres before crossroads, 28th December

Mon, 28 Dec 2020 15:30:53 +0000
51.95112 -0.760109

There are several tyres mainly in the ditch ( and not easily seen from the road) on the right hand side of Bletchley Road when travelling from Stewkley to Drayton Parslow cross roads. Photograph shows about 4 tyres together and one on its own. There are more single tyres on the same side scattered right up to the turning for Hollingdon on the bend-I counted around 20 more tyres along this stretch of road. There are also a further two tyres half way up that stretch of road on the other verge opposite the private residence on that road. I did report a similar problem of discarded tyres about a month ago along this road which have been removed, and this is a new report.

Planned closure of B4032 from Stewkley Lane entrance to Drayton Parslow turn W/C 4th Jan to 19th Jan, 23rd December

Wed, 23 Dec 2020 14:44:36 +0000
51.946885 -0.79617

There is a planned road closure of the B4032 from the Stewkley Lane turn to the Drayton Parslow turn. This will cause complete mayhem for everyone including the regular school buses that use this road. Can the roadworks not be carried out on a traffic light system instead of complete road closure?

Concerns about HGVs driving through village, 1st December

Tue, 01 Dec 2020 11:49:43 +0000
51.948726 -0.78076

The upcoming road closure from the crossroads to the staggered crossroads of Newton Longville/Stoke Hammond will occur over the same time period, (9-17 Dec 20), as the road closure from Stewkley to Mursley to the Drayton Parslow T junction, (I believe for EW rail works). This will cause an unacceptable amount of traffic to come through our village and potentially HGVs which our village is unsuitable for. Please can a road sign be placed at our crossroads to stop HGVs coming through the village?

This mud on the road has been going on for months - I would like to know why is no one at the council addressing this. This is extremely dangerous - these photos donít even do the scale of the problem justice. I was in the car with two small children and my car skidded, I nearly ended up in the ditch - the council have been told over and over again about this, I have tried to speak to someone on the number listed but no one answers the phone. Does it require a serious us injury, or fatal accident to occur before the council are prepared to do something? Everyone will then see that you ignored the complaints which is surely a concern for you?! I know other people have complained and heard nothing from you - my neighbours even spoke to someone to report this - theyíve heard nothing back either. If you continue to ignore then you leave me no choice I will be contacting the local police. Iíve never bothered to complain to the council in 25 years but this is ridiculous & I cannot believe you are allowing this to go on. Negligence.

I suspect there may be a case of dumping and burying illegal waste near to my home. The location is behind a business named "Tech Hoist" on Newton Road, Drayton Parslow MK170LD. The location is accessed via a long, unpaved mud track leading off Drayton Road in Newton Longeville. The entrance is located next door to 2 x New-build Bungalows on Drovers Way, Newton Longville. There are diggers operating in the area in question and trade vehicles entering and leaving the site such as landscape gardeners and builders. The site may be legitimate but I believe trades people go there to dump trade waste with the owners permission.
