Pothole 1 of 11 on this stretch. Note previous report 5667602, scheduled on 12th March category 2H for repair within five working days - this has not been carried out. Bucks Council would now be liable for vehicles damaged on this road as the under s58 Highways Act 1980 no longer apply.

Near graveyard, 19th March
Quite deep pothole on the side of the road, just before the new surface, heading out of Swanbourne. On a bend so hard to avoid as oncoming traffic is hard to see.

Smithfield End close to junction with Station Road, 18th March
Hedges and trees from the adjoining land are very overgrown and encroaching on the highway. Half of the hedge gets cut back by a tractor every so often, but the other half gets left and has not been cut back for several years, Please can this be looked into.

Road entrance to Swanbourne House School, 15th March
The entrance to Swanbourne House School has several large pot holes in which even after the Winslow Road has been closed for the last 2+ weeks for repairs and resurfacing, have not been repaired at all. There is a lot of traffic that goes in and out of this entrance on a daily basis and it is becoming progressively worse and could cause a lot of damage to private vehicles.

The extent of problem is now considerable and causing damage to cars. It makes the road dangerous to use as it’s also used by pedestrians and horses.

As above there are multiple very large potholes along Nearton End. These have been reported multiple times and not fixed. They have been exacerbated recently by traffic using Nearton End as a cut through due to other roadworks.

From Smithfield End to Dodley Hill Farm, 22nd February
Whole stretch of road has been deteriorating over the years and there are a lot of bad potholes. This area is in need of resurfacing. This road has been reported several times before but no repairs have taken place. It has been advised previously that the road has been inspected but still no repairs.

Dangerous pothole on winslow road heading towards swanbourne after exiting a413, 11th February
Dangerously large pothole, heading towards Swanbourne. In the right hand side/middle of the road. Approximately a metre in length and easily over 15 cm deep. The general surface of the road is extremely rough. Caused a blow out on my tire and damage to alloy wheel. Could cause a MAJOR accident as vehicles could easily lose control with the impact caused.

100yd stretch of potholes, 11th February
The bottom of the dip where it floods to the bridge is servery potholed, also the drainage is blocked with the debris from the holes it is bad in a tractor and 100x worst in a car

Station Road just down from Smithfield End, 10th February
These pictures are only three of the many very deep potholes on a 30 yard section of road. This has been an ongoing issues for many years particularly since East West Rail have been working. The increased traffic and heavy goods vehicles has destroyed the road. The council keep putting in very poor temporary fixes in but these only last a few weeks. I understand budgets are tight but something needs to be done. I'm seeing many cars being damaged. I know of three punctures in the last two weeks not mention the unseen damage to cars. More worrying is that they are deep enough to take a motorcyclist off his bike.
