FIXMYSTREET IN MK17 0ED
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of MK17 0ED:
Previous bodged repair has made the road condition worse, 21st January
There has been a long running pot hole problem which starts at the crossroads in Newton Longville. It extends about 15 metres up Whaddon Road but the worst damage is from there down Bletchley Road to Home Farm. A repair was supposedly done 3-4 weeks ago but the material put into the holes has broken up and is now just grit alongside the kerb. The deepest pot hole is probably at least 4-5cm. Vehicles coming from the crossroads down Bletchley Road tend to drive in the middle of the road to avoid the most extensive holes but it is a blind bend and there is a serious risk of an accident (this morning I saw an HGV pull into the middle of the road. Fortunately the Range Rover coming the other way was only driving slowly and was able to stop until he had passed). We really do need to get this properly sorted please.

No Cycling sign missing, 20th January
Newto Longville village has a number of footpaths leading from Bletchley Road to Brookfield Road which crosses other residential streets. At the start and finish of each section there is a No Cycling sign. As per the first of the photos attached, the sign for the section starting at Moorfield is missing from the pole. The second photo shows the equivalent sign at the Brookfield Road end of the same section of path.

Drayton Bletchley Road, 17th January
Let me be another angry resident of the village to complain how you Aylesbury Vale council have let our main roads fall into this draconian terrible state of disrepair the fact is you take our money each month and treat the people like this. I’ve lived here for three years now and apart from patching the potholes in oddspots it’s always been the same every year in fact it’s getting worse.Mr Patrick Curran Warners Road .

Bletchley Road, 14th January
When it rains the water from Bletchley Road runs straight into my drive way instead of into the ditch or down the road. It has been doing this every time it rains and I'm very concerned that this is causing a problem with my property. I recently had a professional out to do some maintenance and he also commented on the damage that could arise.

Rubbish collection point, 8th January
The bin men have emptied the black bin bags of additional recycling and thrown the empty black bin bags on the floor. This is not a rubbish issue caused by the residents, it is the binmen who have littered this area. I watched them do this, and am horrified at their actions.

Just past cross roads going down Bletchley Road, 7th January
This is becoming very dangerous due to various potholes cars are trying to go down middle of the road to miss all the potholes. Some were filled in last week but this is clearly not working and the road needs to be completely resurfaced. Very dangerous for push bikes as well. Please can you advise if this will be re-surfaced any time soon?

Bletchley Road-approximately 200 to metres before crossroads, 28th December
There are several tyres mainly in the ditch ( and not easily seen from the road) on the right hand side of Bletchley Road when travelling from Stewkley to Drayton Parslow cross roads. Photograph shows about 4 tyres together and one on its own. There are more single tyres on the same side scattered right up to the turning for Hollingdon on the bend-I counted around 20 more tyres along this stretch of road. There are also a further two tyres half way up that stretch of road on the other verge opposite the private residence on that road. I did report a similar problem of discarded tyres about a month ago along this road which have been removed, and this is a new report.
