Rubbish collection point, 8th January

Fri, 08 Jan 2021 11:53:38 +0000
51.96894 -0.737286

The bin men have emptied the black bin bags of additional recycling and thrown the empty black bin bags on the floor. This is not a rubbish issue caused by the residents, it is the binmen who have littered this area. I watched them do this, and am horrified at their actions.

I'm afraid I don't have a photograph but I have been informed that a large Christmas tree has been dumped on the main Leighton Road which runs through Stoke Hammond. It is directly opposite Tyrells Manor, MK17 9BX and I'm told is likely to blow over into the road and cause a traffic accident. Could it be moved asap please. Thank you

MK2 3JZ (outside Tommy's Car Wash), 29th December

Tue, 29 Dec 2020 13:57:11 +0000
51.975336 -0.716434

An increasing number of cars are being left on the grass verge, directly outside Tommy's Car Wash by Willow Bridge Marina. We have been in touch with the businesses who reside there and they all inform the Parish Council that these vehicles are nothing to do with them. Not only does the area now look very messy and muddy as can be seen from the photos, there is a huge health and safety issue, as where the cars are parked on Highways grass verges, it makes it extremely dangerous for vehicles to pull out onto the main Stoke Road where cars regularly speed in excess of 60mph. Could Highways kindly use their powers here to enforce whoever these vehicles belong to, to refrain from parking on these grass verges. We understand that fines can be imposed by Highways and would support this action on safety grounds alone.

Blethley Road crossroads with Whaddon Road and Bletchley Road, 23rd December

Wed, 23 Dec 2020 22:29:14 +0000
51.974912 -0.76557

The main cross roads in Newton Longville have virtually no road markings at all. In the dark it is impossible to see the give way markings or find the centre of the road, particularly along Bletchley Road to the junction with Bonnards Road. The road surface is very poor indeed and traffic is regularly driving down the centre of the road on a blind bend to find the smoothest route. Reinstatement of the surface and new white lines at the junction have to be a priority before an accident occurs due to the unsafe conditions. The broken up road surface is littering the pavement and causing a trip hazard to pedestrians trying to cross.

Tue, 22 Dec 2020 20:13:02 +0000
51.974814 -0.765714

The road has numerous potholes some of which are very deep and would damage your wheel not just your tyres. To avoid the potholes you need to drive on the other side of the road which is likely to cause an accident. There is a huge volume of traffic using this road because of the closure of Whaddon Road. The whole section needs to be re laid not just patch repaired as it has been like this for years. Please repair as an emergency. Bletchley Road from the crossroads towards Bonnards Road.
