Additionally, there are a number of leisure facilities in the area, including an ice rink, swimming pools, and a gym. There is a large selection of restaurants and bars, as well as popular cultural attractions such as the Barker Mill Art Gallery, Brenchley Gardens, and the Kent Life Heritage Farm Park.

The area's economy is served by a number of different industries, ranging from retail and leisure to manufacturing and healthcare.

ME16 is an attractive area to live, with a wealth of services and amenities, a strong economy, and good transport links.
