The whole area of grassed verges needs proper attention. It’s difficult to report as there’s a conflict on this app about verges and whether they belong to streetcars or council maintenance. In any event the area is neglected and an eyesore which I have made it my business to report. Deliberate disposal of waste material into a rainwater gully., 25th April
Private maintenance work at property number 42. The private contractors engaged at number 42, AJ Waterproofing Services Ltd, are emptying their black water buckets of thick, white sludge-like material into the gully (I believe this is directly outside property number 32). The white residue has built-up around the gully and did not even wash away with rainfall a few days ago. More liquid was deposited into the gully yesterday, and the man doing so checks around to make sure no-one is looking when he is doing so. The contractors have just arrived for another's day of work, and if I can, I will capture it on camera this time, as I do not want this to build-up/block, and cause flooding to the road or pavement. There are many people on this road who could easily slip if the gully overflows. This is a deliberate and considered act of disposing of waste building material into a gully that is meant to capture excess rain water, not domestic/industrial waste. I suggest that someone comes to assess the build-up today, whilst the evidence is there, and the contractors are on site. If you are lucky, you might even catch them in the process of them emptying the buckets.
