A2103 beside Ensign Street - Noisy Manhole Cover, 15th April
The manhole cover on the A2103 just beside the entrance to Ensign Street has been loose for weeks now, and it makes an extremely loud noise every time a car passes over it.
This is one of the busiest roads in London, and a car passes over this cover about every 5-10 seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The impact on the wellbeing of me and the other residents has been awful, it is preventing us from sleeping every single night.
This needs to be properly and permanently covered and fixed ASAP. It has happened multiple times before and it was cheaply fixed and becomes rattly again. This cannot continue - it is severely damaging my health and wellbeing.
Between this and the constant late night roadworks occurring in the same area for months on end at incredibly late hours, living here has become a nightmare thanks to TFL and the Tower Hamlets council. If you care about your residents at all then action needs to be taken to fix this ASAP.
