Big, Deep Pothole on corner on hill, 7th April
A small pot hole has existed here for some time, now it's gotten much larger. It cannot be avoided safely as it's right on the blind bend as you go uphill towards Garn.

Flooding of road, 9th January
This is getting worse and worse with each rain shower, having started to get beyond a puddle during the heavy rains last winter, now it only takes a drizzly day or a short shower to flood the road. When we get any proper rain this year this is going to be impassable. Having to pass through this ford twice a day is already doing murder to the underside of my car, and anyone else's who uses the road for that matter.

Broken front coil spring, 19th March
Returning from taking my daughter to the Rugby Club, i hit a huge pothole, the bonnet flew open and car got progressively worse on way home. Once I arrived home I found the front left coil spring had snapped. I will be looking for other signs on damage in daylight tomorrow. Please advise.

Road still flooding and need for proper maintainace, 22nd March
Despite this section of road having a new drain installed last year this part of the road is just as bad as ever and needs to have a proper engineer look at it. The whole of the road leading up to the Garn is breaking up with potholes that have had patches put in only to be washed out within weeks by the downhill run of water coming off the mountain. The whole of the road needs a proper drainage system to take the large amounts of water that are eroding this section of road. It is dangerous because at times with heavy rainfall it is like a waterfall. The potholes are doing the suspension of motor vehicles no favours. The whole of the road system through the village of Garnfadryn needs to be swept where the tractors persist in breaking down the side of the bank leaving bud and stones to mess up the road.I have lived in this village for over 20 years with all but the odd filling in of pot holes , which as I said proved totally inadequet. I feel it is now time for to have a fair share of the funds provided by government for road repairs put to good use here. The roads in Pwllheli, which where perfectly serviceable , have all been completely resurfaced, why not our road?
