Fly tipped rubbish, 26th February
Fly tipped bin bags, garden rubbish, children’s toys, plastic slide, various other items of rubbish.
The location is opposite the Microlight gates. I’ll be reporting this via Sefton’s website too as the Council will ignore Fix my Street notifications and insist on separate reporting possibly hoping that most people won’t bother making an extra report on their website which is awkward to navigate.

There are no central markings at all on this road making it very dangerous., 29th January
There are no central marking on this very busy section of road. Heavy vehicles have rubbed off the markings. Also there is a lot of mud in the gutters which makes motorists move more to the centre of the road. Have seen many near misses on this road.

Cars parked on the junction, 31st December
Vehicles from the adjacent houses park within 4 feet of the junction making it impossible for vehicles leaving village way and turning either left or right into school road/Village way to see any oncoming traffic. This is very dangerous and I shall send a copy of this complaint to the Hightown Parish Council to be available in case of an accident.

Dangerous junction!, 16th March
Another accident has happened on the Formby bypass which this time has sadly led to a loss of life. This junction in particular is clearly very dangerous and likely needs to be improved to decrease the chances of future incidents. Possibly a set of filter lights or other traffic flow improving measures. Please can the council investigate this further as a matter of urgency?

Dangerous trafflic light system, 16th March
Traffic lights are so dangerous at this junction especially for people turning into the shell garage from ince blundell as its really difficult to see the traffic coming from formby to people think the lights have changed in both directions but they haven't and pull out on people doing over 50mph. Surely all is needed is filter lights.

Deadly junction, 15th March
Too many people have died or been injured at a high speed junction. We need a roundabout or traffic controlled lights at the junction between the A565 and North End Lane and New Causeway. This junction has been a problem for many years.

Junction Very Dangerous, 15th March
The junction from North End Lane has been very dangerous for many years but with traffic getting heavier, it is now the worst it’s ever been. Whether pulling onto the bypass from a standstill, often looking into blinding winter sun, or leaving the bypass from the direction of Formby which necessitates crossing 2 lanes of oncoming traffic, it is an accident black spot. Traffic lights need to be installed here. This would make it a much safer crossing for both cars & cyclists & would slow down traffic approaching from a long run coming from the new Shell garage junction at Ince Blundell before they hit the roundabout at Formby

Dangerous junction for cyclists, 15th March
We as cyclists dont have many options coming from Hightown or Crosby.... We cannot cross the by pass at the petrol station as no cycle path present on the south bound side. Its to dangerous at the roundabout as cars drive way too fast, the option to get back on the cycle path is dangerous and to go around the roundabout is near fatal..... I suggest blocking the middle barrier off no south bound right traffic in to North End, and a designated priority cyclist lane around the roundabout so we can travel safely to the Tesco crossing lights. Too many deaths have been caused at this junction. the other option more lights let people cross let people turn slow the traffic down on this fast bend. !!!!!!
