In the middle of the road next to the West Ashby Arms, 15th March
There was an incident this morning (15/03/24) and a gouge has been made in the road. A skip lorry is potentially responsible as the occupants stopped and were gathering debris from the road and we could hear a lot of noise from our house. Their registration is YW16 EUM. There are a lot of loose stone chippings in the road now too.

Standing water covering less than half the road problem, 17th January
Rain water running straight into the cemetery, causing issues for the graves and for people trying to gain access to the cemetery. Contacted LCC to ask for more grips to be cut into the verges before the cemetery so the water can run into the dyke before the entrance.

Corner of docking lane and the A153, 6th December
This “drain” has been overflowing and running for some weeks now and as you can see from the photos when driving on the road it is like driving between two flowing rivers! It is getting worse and with the very icy conditions it is becoming increasingly dangerous, especially at nighttime if you are unaware of the extent of the constant running water down this road which is a well used thoroughfare connecting the a158 to the a153 to avoid Horncastle. It is only a matter of time before there is a serious accident here. I have reported it to AWA but as their leak report shows they have visited and closed their fault report, I guess it must be a highways issue they are not interested in! It needs urgently resolving as not only is it dangerous but it has now also washed out both sides of the road with deep potholes appearing under the running water. The whole area needs some attention.
