The problem is with the gully cover, one of the trianglar cover is loose and there is a risk of it flipping over and create a danger to a flow of traffic heading north on North Street / Louth. I could not find anything on your list to cover manholes etc hence this.

The road was resurfaced over a year ago, the resurfacing works stops just past the driveway. There is 20 meters that has not been done and the curb height is extremely high so customer is concerned about getting his car in and out of the property. From 31 - 23 Langton Hill, Horncastle LN9 5AH, 11th March
Water is rising on the grass verge outside number 25 and flowing freely across the drive onto the road causing flooding of the road on the corner of Langton Hill and Langton Drive. Additional, water is flowing under the tarmac road surface and emerging downhill of number 25 and is casing the tarmac road to lift causing potholes. This is not a new problem and has been reported numerous times before and whilst the Council has been out to inspect the situation, nothing has been done to rectify it. This problem does not go away and during the summer months, the council are unable to cut the grass verge due to the machinery sinking into the mud. What with this and the driveway of number 25 beginning to lift, the value of the property is being eroded due to the appearance of the outside situation. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find anywhere to leave the bins for collections without sinking in the mud of blocking the driveway. Before Christmas 2023, the Council did arrive to fill in potholes caused by the water problem from the top of the hill downwards but neglected to fill in the pothole just below number 25 as the repairers parked a vehicle over the top of it and consequently, this was missed.

We have recently had some pot holes filled and it looks like they have repaired the road around the drain. Unfortunately they have filled the drain with tarmac and blocked it. I have taken some photos but you can't really see down the drain. It is opposite 15b Queen street Horncastle near the entrance to the Methodist Church.
