On the corner outside Hall Farm, 13th February
The road used to have a drain on the corner to prevent flooding. When the recent road re-surfacing was carried out the drain was completely covered with tarmac and is no longer visible or functioning. Our house nearly flooded for the first time ever owing to build-up of water on the road where the drain used to be. It can be found with a metal detector. It must be reinstated to prevent flooding of my property.

This was a totally brand new surface laid in july. How has this ever been accepted or passed off ? its very bumpy and uneven pretty dangerous on a motorbike over 15mph. Infact the majority of the old surface was actually better !.I see theres been other people reporting this but the markers just disappear surely you dont think this is acceptable for a brand new surface ?

Road resurfacing near Apley, 18th September
I would like to draw attention to the road works that took place recently on Goltho road. For many years this section of road has been suffering from subsidence and at last this has been rectified by planing the surface and resurfacing. Unfortunately after spending, what I suspect would be a significant amount of council funds on this stretch of road, the road has become corrugated making driving over 20mph a very uncomfortable experience. I would like to ask the question if any quality control and inspection of works on completion exists ? I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that temporary road signs are left lying on the verges not only at this site but at many places in the county, Surely there is a cost implication ,
