Haverflatts Lane, 27th July

Sat, 27 Jul 2019 08:46:40 +0100
54.233562 -2.765791

I reported this and a few other potholes a month or two ago. Recently many were filled. However, this pothole was, and is the worst. It's deceptively deep and unavoidable. Why then did you fill in some, but then dump a large amount of tarmac in the entrance to an infrequently used entrance to a farmers shed, thereby leaving the worst hole to continue to damage cars? (The pile of tarmac dumped in the gateway is not even on the lane!) Please address the main problematic pothole. Thank you.

Unavoidable Potholes, 24th June

Mon, 24 Jun 2019 13:17:20 +0100
54.233266 -2.765901

This pothole is approximately 3 1/2 inches deep and is unavoidable when driving along the single track lane in either direction. Within the last ten days I have spent £550 putting two new tyres on my car. This was as a result of ball joint failing on the steering. This resulted in the tracking being out which in turn caused uneven wear on the inner edges of both front tyres. The mechanic tells me the likely cause is driving through/over potholes. If they're unavoidable, I have no choice if I want to get home. Please fix these potholes.

Various potholes of different sizes, 19th March

Mon, 19 Mar 2018 14:26:25 +0000
54.224398 -2.770845

The stretch or road from the primary school along Firs Road and leading to Firs Close has various potholes of different sizes. The potholes are deep and large, they would cause a lot of damage to cars and bikes if someone did not know about them. In wet weather they fill up with water so they are difficult to spot. Some of these potholes have been reported over 2 months ago.

The tarmac has been broken up for over a year. It constantly produces loose gravel which has caused a slipping hazard and I have gone over on my ankle with the un-even surface. I have reported this in the summer and just recently I had an email to confirm it had been fixed. for some reason I reported Dugg Hill and somethink on Park House drive was mended! It is the foot path outside 10 Dugg Hill. Heversham

Overgrown Hedgerow & Verge, 9th September

Sat, 09 Sep 2017 20:01:43 +0100
54.236179 -2.764913

200 yards up the single lane part of Haverflatts Lane from Milnthorpe finds the hedge and verge so overgrown it's almost impossible to get along without getting scratched (whilst on foot). Imagine then, how difficult it is in a car. Despite never going above walking speed in my car it has scratches on both sides. It used to get cut twice a year, now it's not done properly once a year. It needs doing, and doing so properly. The attached image is what we're told is a passing place. Doesn't look like it does it! Please get it cut. Thank you.

BT Manhole cover on pavement loose and dangerous trip hazard, 14th March

Tue, 14 Mar 2017 17:29:13 +0000
54.226508 -2.777171

The tarmac around the cover has worn away and the cover can now be tripped over as it protrudes from the pavement. The cover also comes undone when stepped on at the edge, causing the lid to flip and expose the deep drain below. The manhole is positioned on the pavement before you turn into Bela Forge, Park Road LA7 7RE.
