Deep pothole adjoining surface water drain, 24th December
There is a deep pothole on the roadside of a surface water drain on the southbound side of the road. The pothole is about the size of a surface water drain, but deep and hard to avoid without crossing the road's central white line and hard to see in time due to a bend in the road. The pothole is likely to cause tyre or vehicle damage if hit. Possibly the road surface has fallen into the drain, but it was hard to be sure as I was driving.

Sides of sewer manhole look to be slowly falling in, 3rd June
The road around the edges of this sewer manhole cover appears to be slowly subsiding making the manhole cover very loose as vehicles drive over it. The cover can also be rocked with just a foot. Therefore I think the manhole needs to be checked, possibly by United Utilities.
