Pothole and edge of road crumbling, 14th June
The minor road from the A591 which goes round White Moss Common has a developing pothole. As I turn in from the A591 it is difficult to avoid it. The road at that point has been eroded at the edge by the torrent of water which has poured down the road in the last few winters. Parked cars make it difficult to proceed. It needs a proper edge.

2/3 of the “Under Loughrigg” road is signed as “access only”. The section between Pelter Bridge, Rydal and Rothay Park, Ambleside. Most afternoons there is a constant stream of traffic using the road as a through route. This is supposed to be a quiet lane where families can safely walk. Potholes everywhere, 18th August
For the sum of monies extracted from vehicle owners it would be nice to expect a car park that is not riddled with severe and deep potholes around the entrance/exit area and in front of the pay machine. Please review and repair as necessary using a proprietary compacting machine etc. Thank you

Huge vicious pothole, 29th January
Last night driving just out of Ambelside direction Grasmere hit massive deep pot hole at low speed. Also to point out that the surface between Ambleside and Whitemoss is the WORST I've driven over IN THE WHOLE OF CUMBRIA and urgently NEEDS RESURFACING before a SERIOUS ACCIDENT OCCURS with cyclists either being shaken off or VEERING TO AVOID DRAIN COVERS, POT HOLES and the general DISINTIGRATING surface.
