ISSUE: Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) within Kingston Town Centre.
ACTION: Tackling violence against women and girls within Kingston Town Centre is a priority. The safety of everyone visiting our town centre is important to us however certain crimes disproportionately affect women and girls. Our work in this area is wide ranging including regular patrols in areas that have been identified through surveys as places that make people feel unsafe. Partnership workshop activities and crime prevention engagement activities in the town centre.
