The forgotten areas of Ardrossan , Coalhill Place , Ardneil Court , Linn Road . Pavement kerbs yet again this year no longer exist due to overgrown with weeds. Trees overgrown and grass below not cut . Why do the council not employ contractors if they cannot do the above works ? Less done every year . Stayed in this area 38 years and worst I have seen the ground maintenance by North Ayrshire

Illegal parking on the pavement, 6th May

Fri, 06 May 2022 18:28:09 +0100
55.635812 -4.790667

Since the new occupants of 57 Manse Street moved in they and their visitors have been abandoning numerous vehicles on the pavement. It makes it difficult for pedestrians to pass and is causing traffic issues as vehicles are now trying to pass in two directions simultaneously while buses are loading and unloading passengers. This is in direct contradiction of the Highway Code and road traffic laws.

Drain Blockage For The Past 2 Years, 18th October

Mon, 18 Oct 2021 13:41:51 +0100

The road drainage at the corner of Dockhead Street and Windmill Street is blocked and anytime there is substantial rain this are of the road (windmill Street) directly in from of the Vape Shop fills with water and overflows onto and into Dockhead Street. The pavement stones there are quite high and the accumulated water is well over ankle deep and many, many people have inadvertently stepped into this wet and very dangerous accumulation of water. this has been ongoing now for over 2 years. It needs to be serviced and serviced quickly !!!

Car parking in and about the entry to the main shopping street in Saltcoats, 18th October

Mon, 18 Oct 2021 11:43:54 +0100
55.632718 -4.787833

There are constantly cars parked on both sides of the road at Dockhead Place. This is the "PEDESTRIAN" access way to enter the main shopping street (Dockhead Street). No fewer than 4 to 6 cars are parked in double yellow marked parking and block access in many cases to the pedestrian access way into Dockhead Street. I have seen mothers with prams and elderly with scooters have to go back and all the way down and around Dockhead Street as they cannot maneuver the pram and/or scooter because of cars parked on the yellow lines there. New double yellow lines were painted 6 weeks ago .... what is the use of painting double yellow lines when no enforcement of the laws relating to those double yellow lines is even contemplated never mind enacted. This has been ongoing for over 3 years now. Police see the cars, walk around the cars and totally ignore the breaking of the law that these illegally parked cars (and the owners/drivers) are involved in. There is an abundance of parking in Dockhead Place with parking set out to accommodate anyone shopping in Dickhead Place. so there is no need for parking in the pedestrian access areas and on the double yellow lines. It is noting more than a complete matter of LAZINESS !!!
