Possible baby sinkhole., 21st July
I’ve classified this as other because it’s not a pothole but rather the start of a sinkhole. It’s about 8” in diameter and not very deep at present but it goes back a long way under the tar so it’s impossible to gauge the true extent of the damage. The edges all round are starting to sink so it’s only a matter of time before the road collapses.

Household rubbish, 20th June
Van load of household rubbish, incl a washing machine at this location. This is an essential passing place on a very tight blind bend on a single track narrow road used by lorries. Very dangerous.

Various Potholes, One Very Large Sharphill Roundabout, 9th February
Pot holes as previously reported on Sharphill Roundabout, tore side wall of my tyre, requiring new tyre, a busy stretch of road like this should have such defects rectified ASAP, a disgrace and an accident waiting to happen.

B714 potholes, 24th January
On my day off taking pics of pot holes on the roads. Just to let you all know the B714 going eastbound from the A78 at Saltcoats to Dalry is a complete disgrace this is the third time in a year that it has caused damage to my car, this time it had caused a puncture and bent my track rod. I will be claiming for sure! ??. Another thing please tell others to slow down on this road as vehicles are having to use the other side of the road to avoid damage to Their vehicles! I've had many close calls but the next might not be so lucky.

Road falling apart, 30th March
It is the by-pass leading from sharphill roundabout at the top end of saltcoats out to stevenston. This by-pass is by far the worst road i have ever driven on. I spend my journey going to work dodging the holes all over the road. This road is so bad that it should be closed and repaired. It has never been done properly int he first place. This road is becoming more and more dangerous and it is an accident waiting to happen. I have already reported this to the council and nothing done, it has also been brought to the attention of a local councillor. Please help get this road redone before an accident happens.
