BT road cover, 26th May

Fri, 26 May 2023 09:51:21 +0100
55.654339 -4.707257

I have spent years reporting faults with severe noise and vibration through my and other properties since BT moved the BT openreach cabling to across the street from my house. My house is nearly two hundred years old and with the HGVs that constantly bombard the BT road covering, we have concerning movement in our house. Can someone please push further with BT as they do not answer the team which is in charge of the A737 route.

Disgusting emergency, 20th April

Wed, 20 Apr 2022 10:45:39 +0100
55.653913 -4.705197

Hi i know several of the residents in the Byres road flats, all with health problems and all who dispose of their rubbish in their own bins. Over the last year this has got out of hand. Its effecting people with mental health and physical health problems. Handing out fines and doing inspections is great but while all that is happening a toxic mess is gathering. Old medicines, soiled nappies the lot. I insist that this is dealt with now as its been like that for months now.

Parking on the pavement causing a hazard at entrance / exit to large estate, 13th April

Wed, 13 Apr 2022 10:01:37 +0100
55.663706 -4.714926

This van (and other similar vehicles) have been consistently parked on the pavement outside this residence. It is on the pavement and close to two junctions as well as blocking the view into the estate due to being on a blind hill and curve. This has been going on for over 6 months with little / no regard to the other residents with this being the sole entrance / exit to the estate!

Parking Issues, 7th April

Thu, 07 Apr 2022 09:47:27 +0100
55.652265 -4.700284

There are, on numerous occasions, vehicles parked illegally on Kyleswell Street, Kilwinning, on the yellow lines at the junction with Almswall Road. For some reason , neither police nor council seem willing to take any action regarding this situation, with one of the most persistent offenders being the driver of a metallic red Range Rover. This individual , who appears to have some association with the adjacent orange lodge, is apparently a law unto himself as his vehicle is frequently parked on the double yellows. This was an issue before the yellow lines were extended, and he continues to park illegally in this area , as do many of his knuckle-dragging patrons.

Problems getting out of Bannoch Place, 12th March

Sat, 12 Mar 2022 20:42:26 +0000
55.654732 -4.68172

We have two vans which keep getting parked at the weekends and one is sometimes left all week but they don't belong to anyone in the street and belong to residents of Keir Hardie Crescent, They park directly behind a row of residents cars at 17, 19, 21 Bannoch Place which makes it really difficult to reverse out or they'll squeeze into a gap between residents cars in that row where the residents are then left with having to squeeze to get into our cars - and I mean squeeze, and then we have try and get our car out so that passengers can get in. I know parking is becoming an issue everywhere but these people don't live near this cud-de-sac and we already have the overspill from Bannoch Gardens parking in Bannoch Place because apparently they're not allowed to park on their street - part of their deeds allegedly, so they're parking on the right of Bannoch Place, which is a little bit more open, but the section I'm talking about on the left is too tight to have vans parked on it. My passenger door has had it's door chipped twice in the last couple weeks while parked in Bannoch Place and both incidents have happened here. Been parking in this street for 30 years and never had damage on my cars due to parking until these vans started showing up There are many elderly in this street who need to be able to access their cars and everyone is becoming quite peeved off. North ayrshire council made this street tight to park in by building Bannoch Gardens and parking has been an issue on and off coming up on 20 years now, but at least before it was people who lived here who were scrambling for space, but now the word seems to be out to residents of Keir Hardie and their friends that there's space on the left hand side of Bannoch Place - the space that's left after the residents of Bannoch Place get parked is needed for those residents to maneuver their cars in and out the street, we shouldn't have to worry about squeezing in and out the car, damage to our car and shouldn't have to do a 18 point turn to reverse out of a space because a van's parked too close to the left or right of us or directly behind us. It's time North Ayrshire council made Bannoch Place residents parking only - it's a cul-de-sac and so it's the only way of dealing with these issues without tempers getting frayed.
