A number of potholes, hard to avoid, 6th March
Recent flooding after excessive rainfall (this winter) has caused deterioration of the road surface just before and on the bridge. Due to lack of maintenance of drains excess water off the fields above the road runs down the road taking tarmac with it. The potholes are becoming increasingly extensive, they are now almost impossible to avoid. The location at the bottom of the hill makes it a dangerous place for cyclists also as they come down the (smooth surface of the) hill at great speed.
