Urgent Need for Proper Address Identification and Name Plate Installation
14th November
I am writing to formally report an urgent issue regarding the lack of proper signage and address identification at our terrace. At present, there is no name plate or clear marking in place, which has resulted in repeated problems with essential deliveries.
My wife is living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and we rely on regular deliveries of medical supplies. Unfortunately, these deliveries are frequently returned because drivers are unable to locate our property. This situation is causing significant distress and has the potential to put my wifes health at risk.
In addition to the delivery issues, I am extremely concerned about the ability of emergency services to find us quickly should a medical emergency arise. Clear property identification is crucial, and the current lack of signage could lead to dangerous delays with potentially catastrophic consequences.
I am requesting that action be taken as soon as possible to install an appropriate name plate, house number, or terrace identification marker so that our property can be easily located by couriers, healthcare providers, and emergency services.
I would appreciate written confirmation of the steps that will be taken to resolve this matter and an estimated timescale for the installation.

This is not the first time this has happened!
The bin was put out late last night and the bin men came this morning (Blue & Brown). The blue one was emptied but not the brown one, yet all the neighbours green caddies have been emptied!
I'll leave my brown bin out until it gets collected.... Hopefully before the next collection, next Friday!

Abandoned Van
4th November
This van has been sat in Montrose Street and parked across the top of Chestnut avenue in Montrose Street for 2 + weeks now. It has flat tyres and it may not be taxed. I have asked the company who owns it to move it but they said " it's fine were it is" . They are not prepared to move it. It is a very big van and is blocking the light for all the residents living down Chestnut avenue and taking up valuable parking spaces in our cul-de-sac.

Road markings needed for one way street
10th October
I work on dock street and regularly see cars driving the wrong way down the one way street. There are numerous car parks like the euro car park or inside the various buildings and flats and cars pull out of those and because theres no road markings down the length of the street they dont realise its one way. Over the years I have seen so many near misses of pedestrians stepping out to cross the road only looking in the direction they expect the traffic to come only to nearly get run over from a car going the wrong way. Quite a few years ago now, I pulled out of the euro car park and had my car written off by a driver going the wrong way and smashing into me. Whilst on shift the other day I saw about three cars in the space of half an hour going the wrong way. And now that theres the new bus gate more and more cars are going to be travelling down dock street. Its an accident waiting to happen.

Large Skip dumped near my house
8th October
This large skip was left outside my house 5 or 6 weeks ago and should have been collected 4 weeks ago. When it wasn't picked up, my husband contacted the firm to complain.and he was told it was too heavy for them to move. They said they were arranging for someone else to do it. He has called twice more since and keeps getting the same response. The skip is over full and with last weekends winds, the contents were blowing.everywhere, including on our car. We keep putting the stuff back but it is an absolute eyesore. It was ordered by someone working on a house a couple of doors away but we are sick of having it right near our house, outside 54 Morrill Street . We should not have to put up with this but obviously the skip hire company are incapable of removing their own skips. The sign on the side is EYA. 01482 450291
