Brown Bins Not Picked Up AGAIN! That is TWICE this month!
21st November
As I said last time... this is not the first time this has happened!
Friday 7th November 2025 - My Brown Bin was not picked up!
I reported it and it was finally emptied on Tuesday 11th November 2025
As usual I put my bin was put out late last night (Thursday) and the bin men came this morning (Blue & Brown).
The blue one was emptied, but not the brown ones, yet all the neighbours green caddies have been emptied!
What is wrong with Hull City Council's refuse collectors and missing bins?
Its not as though it is a small caddy and you miss it.... Its TWO BIG BROWN BINS!!!
My partner is amputee and in a wheelchair and cannot go chasing them to let them know they have missed our bins because by the time she gets to the front door they are at the top of the street!
I'll leave my brown bins out until it gets collected hopefully in the next couple of days!
Bloody annoying I have to keep chasing this up!

Urgent Need for Proper Address Identification and Name Plate Installation
14th November
I am writing to formally report an urgent issue regarding the lack of proper signage and address identification at our terrace. At present, there is no name plate or clear marking in place, which has resulted in repeated problems with essential deliveries.
My wife is living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and we rely on regular deliveries of medical supplies. Unfortunately, these deliveries are frequently returned because drivers are unable to locate our property. This situation is causing significant distress and has the potential to put my wifes health at risk.
In addition to the delivery issues, I am extremely concerned about the ability of emergency services to find us quickly should a medical emergency arise. Clear property identification is crucial, and the current lack of signage could lead to dangerous delays with potentially catastrophic consequences.
I am requesting that action be taken as soon as possible to install an appropriate name plate, house number, or terrace identification marker so that our property can be easily located by couriers, healthcare providers, and emergency services.
I would appreciate written confirmation of the steps that will be taken to resolve this matter and an estimated timescale for the installation.

Abandoned Van
4th November
This van has been sat in Montrose Street and parked across the top of Chestnut avenue in Montrose Street for 2 + weeks now. It has flat tyres and it may not be taxed. I have asked the company who owns it to move it but they said " it's fine were it is" . They are not prepared to move it. It is a very big van and is blocking the light for all the residents living down Chestnut avenue and taking up valuable parking spaces in our cul-de-sac.
