Yet again. The timings on the lights on the A49 Southbound have been changed (we noticed it from Sunday) 16th. They now only let around 5 cars through at a time instead of around 15 to 20. This is causing bad congestion in the area. Why are they always being changed?

Litter bin disappeared
11th November
There was a litter bin at the rear of The Shell Store on Rotherwas that was much used, so much as you will see from my photo attached, taken in September 2025 that it was often overflowing. It is used by the numerous dog walkers in the area as well as those purchasing from the Coffee Cart branch at The Shell Store. Now the bin has disappeared. This surely must be a mistake, when the bin was so well used and will now mean litter is inevitably dropped/left behind as there is no other bin for quite a distance. Why would a bin that is so well used and in such an accessible location removed, when there is no other bin close by?

The sign for Moorfields, leading to Mordiford Steet affixed to the wall on the South side of Moorfields is almost completely obscured by dirt. This is a difficult turning for traffic turning off the A49 wishing to access Moorfields and Moorfield Street. The signage for Moorfield Road is similarly obscured by dirt leading to difficulty identifying the route to Portland Street The sign Portland Steet is very difficult read.

Overhanging bushes / trees

I am vistually impaired and walk along along Edgar street early morning and mid evenings trancing the right boundary with my cane. all along Edgar street there are overhanging hedges and trees which hit me in the face throughout the stretch of road from the Richmond to Portland street. I have to move near the road to avoid them. which then puts me in the way of traffic with bright lights.

Whole length of Loder Drive to T junction both sides of the road deteriorating every day
whole stretches of surface eroded down to the hardcore and loose hardcore being torn out by vehicles.
With cars parked left and right, drivers not able to avoid the potholes and large areas of missing hardcore and surface tarmac. This problem has been reported many times by many residents.

Pot hole on edge of road. Water usually overflows along the edge of the road by curb which will quickly get bigger. Cars are hitting it too.
