The A (41) road between Aylesbury and Berkhamsted needs a clean. I counted 3 mattresses on the verge recently. There is also a large build of tyres and plastic detritus. It looks awful and is depressing to drive through every day. The laybys needs a regular clean and the whole stretch at least once a year.

Flood all over half the road, 29th February
The flood happens every time it rains. It is not visible because it’s on the bend traffic travels too fast despite speed limit It’s on A4251 at the Cow Roast in the direction of Tring

Very large pothole approx 100 yards from junction with Cow Lane, 26th February
Very large pothole has appeared in past few days. It is large so you have to go over the centre line into the oncoming lane to avoid it. The road is fast and you can’t see it u til you are almost on it.

Large and deep pothole on Tring Road by Newground Road entrance, 17th February
There is a very deep and large pothole on Tring Road, on the left hand side if you’re going towards Cow Roast, right by where you turn left on to Newground Road. It’s on Tring Road and not hard to miss especially in the dark. It’s very deep and can easily potentially cause a puncture and other tyre damage especially as the stretch of road is national speed limit.

Fallen tree blocking lane, 16th February
A tree has fallen and is blocking the lane. It is just possible to squeeze past, but the tree is held up only by branches on the opposite side of the lane and could fall on someone squeezing through.

There are a number of pot holes on the slip road. Unfortunately when I have travelled up here it is dark and so cannot see them properly. Not even sure if the lights are working here

Southbound carriageway between B4009 & A416 Junctions, 23rd November
For at least a year, the fast majority of the cats-eyes and white lines between the lanes on between B4009 & A416 Junctions on the Southbound A41 have been missing. This makes driving at night dangerous!
