The whole of the A40 through Stokenchurch is a disgrace for an A route. Heavy vehicles swerve to avoid the proliferation of deep potholes and pass very close to pedestrians on the pavements. This is unacceptable and the council will be liable for any deaths or injuries that result.

Large deep pothole, 7th April
This location has a very large deep pothole which would cause severe damage to tyre and/or wheel of a vehicle if having to drive over it, the road is narrow so if a vehicle is approaching on the other side of the carriageway, you need to stop at the pothole and wait to go around it. This deep pothole needs urgent attention

The very large holes on the decline just after the bend on Kingston Hill has still not been fixed. I have had to drive over it twice now due to oncoming traffic and I am very concerned it is doing damage to my car and that I will possibly see a major accident due to these holes. Please can you put a priority to these. Thank You.

Just past jct with Littlewood, 29th March
The Farol lorry is frequently parked fully on the footpath. Always loaded with a vehicle so very heavy. The photo shows where the tarmac has become damaged. The driver parks father along than he used to. This has been going on for many months.
It blocks pedestrian access and drivers' view when exiting Littlewood. There is a disabled space marked on the opposite side of the road

Oxford Road Opposite The Kings Hotel, 28th March
The bins outside CJ's Stores are constantly full and therefore the rubbish is on the floor and flying around the village. A larger bin is required, or the frequency the bins are emptied needs to be increased, as litter is becoming an issue. This has been an ongoing issue for almost a year now, Because the bins are so full the birds are also pulling the litter out of the bins.
