Whole road icy, 21st January
Driving home at around 18:00 from bideford to torrington on the gammaton road. Just before woodhouse farm there is a steep hill, it was dark and I was only driving around 20mph and crashed my car in to the hedge because of the ice. I have more pictures on my phone of the whole road just covered in ice. It was -2 degrees when it happened, when I arrived back there this morning to take pictures it was 1 degree. I also have a video that my partner took of me trying to get up the hill and the entire car sliding back down. I phoned the police and reported the problem, they said to call devon county council, spoke to someone on the out of hours number and they said they will inform the council, the road hadn't been gritted and there are no signs, luckily there was no on coming vehicles as it would be a very different story. More cars were attempting to get up it this morning but couldn't. I have quite a lot of damage to my vehicle which I have also taken pictures of, this is my reason for putting in a claim.

Fly tip, 15th September
On the grass verge on the junction someone has dumped old fencing panels and general bags of rubbish and the rubbish has been ripped open by rodents so it will need litter picking. The rubbish is in such a prominent place on the main road to Bideford and it just lets our district look untidy.

Landowner/contractor has dug a meter deep drainage ditch a few hundred meters across recently felled woodland & installed a large pipe through the hedge so that all the run off will run down the public highway - approx 300m west of Foxes cross.
