Scaffolding out in road, 29th June
There is scaffolding on the house and it extends out onto the road but this is a very dangerous location as it is on a bend and opposite a junction....surely there should be traffic lights here? I almost had an accident twice there now, once whilst pulling out of the junction and not being able to see vehicles in the middle of the road coming up, and another time I was driving up the road and was slowly going past the scaffolding and another car came speeding down towards me.

Very large potholes, 4th May
Yet again I find myself complaining about the potholes from Kol-mar to meadow Croft bungalow. Though some of the small potholes have been filled in,the more severe ones have not been touched. I have taken photos but unfortunately there is a limit of the amount of photos you can submit, is it because you don’t want to address the severe problems of potholes. I use the road a lot but if I should fall and hurt myself or do damage to my car I will take it to court. As this is the 3rd time I have reported the problem. The road needs to be completely resurfaced. Maybe the local tv news needs to contacted to get the road repaired

Severe damage to road and central line, 2nd October
Severe damage to the road and central line along this 100 metre stretch of road. The central line is completely broken up and potholed, but the cats-eyes remain at normal height. The current road signs and lane closure (due to long term building work) are forcing people into the centre of the road and it is continuing to get worse. The damaged road is enough to cause an accident or serious damage to a vehicles wheels and suspension.

NDDC fail to replace the community bin with no lid for over a YEAR, 25th February
The community bin at Boreat Barton was damaged by the council refuge collectors and no longer has the lid. This has been on-going for over 12 months now and despite numerous telephone calls to the Council no replacement bin has been supplied. We were informed in 2014 a new bin would be provided but this has not happened. The waste/refuge in the open bin is got at by the birds and wild animals as well as being exposed to the elements and results in our refuge being strewn across the public highway causing danger to road users and is an environmental nightmare. We spoke with 'Rich' at NDDC customer services today who was very reluctant to disclose his name and was very rude. He stated a new bu=in would be provided within 3 weeks but we do not believe this because we have waited over a year already!

Road repairs, 9th April
The lane runs up the side of my property. To my knowledge no maintenance has ben carried out for some 20 years. Over time the passage of heavy cattle trucks to and from the barn further up the lane have caused deterioration to the extent that large and dep potholes are now threatening access to my property by normal vehicles.
