3 groups of potholes causing traffic to routinely drive in right-hand lane, 1st May
For years, the stretch of the A377 towards Barnstaple, just before Umberleigh has been riddled with potholes. There are 3 groups of them and they routinely cause vehicles to cross the carriageway onto the other side in the path of oncoming traffic. I'm surprised nothing has been done given the danger hazard they are causing.

Severe damage to road and central line, 2nd October
Severe damage to the road and central line along this 100 metre stretch of road. The central line is completely broken up and potholed, but the cats-eyes remain at normal height. The current road signs and lane closure (due to long term building work) are forcing people into the centre of the road and it is continuing to get worse. The damaged road is enough to cause an accident or serious damage to a vehicles wheels and suspension.

Farm run off & blocked drains in the road causing tarmac to be constantly underwater & this road is unlikely to be gritted when sub zero.

Dirty Lay By, 24th June
This lay by is quite badly littered and it has not been cleaned for ages so requires cleaning. The litter is mainly fast food packaging and a sheet of MDF.

Inactive road works, 16th August
There has been a lane closure controlled by temporary traffic lights at this location for over a year. Nothing has happened except for a collection of litter and weed growth. The cost of hire for the ATS must be considerable. It is surely time that any works commenced or the "temporary" lights removed.

Street lights that don't work, 14th February
The street lights outside the railway station don't work. his was reported to the railway company in Nov 2013 but has nothing happened.

Road surface missing, 15th May
The edge of the tarmac has been removed & I've seen cars drop front wheels into the missing strip & struggle to steer out of it, I think it was done to stop the water running down the road from the farmers fields but the ridge is sharp & looks unfinnished
