There are multiple potholes and trenches in the filter lane for the turning to Widemouth Bay, coming from Bude. This filter lane is unusable and presents a huge danger to any vehicle, especially two wheeled ones that has the misfortune to stray in to it.

Proposed access to Marine Drive, 10th July
There is a planning application for a new dwelling and access to Marine drive at this point, please see planning application PA15/05574. Traffic goes past this point towards Widemouth Manor at 30mph (and more). In my opinion access to Marine Drive here would be dangerous in the extreme and a H&S issue. Please find the time to visit the proposed access to ascertain for yourselves how dangerous the proposal is.
