EH7 is a postcode district located within the Edinburgh post town which covers the Duddingston, Lochend and Restalrig areas of Edinburgh, Scotland. The postcode district was also known as the Holyrood postcode district until 1987 when EH1 was created.

EH7 is bounded by the EH6 postcode district to the west, the EH14 postcode district to the south, the EH9 postcode district to the east and the EH15 postcode district to the north.

The district is home to the Holyrood Park and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The park is 762 acres in size and contains landmarks such as Salisbury Crags, the ruins of St. Anthony's Chapel, as well as being home to a variety of wildlife including red grouse, roe deer and a variety of bird species.

The area is home to numerous recreational facilities such as playing fields, leisure and recreational centres, and the Asda in Duddingston. This postcode district covers a variety of residential bases, small shopping centres and small-scale businesses. Duddingston is a well-known village and contains a small parade of shops, restaurants and bars.

The district is home to a number of primary and secondary schools such as Lochend Community High School, Broughton High School and Duddingston Primary School as well as the non-denominational Wednesday Club which is popular for youngsters in the area.

The area is well served by public transport with buses operating from Edinburgh city centre to the district and a range of suburban rail routes are also available.

EH7 also contains two council managed parks, Duddingston Park in Duddingston village, and Restalrig Park close to Edinsburgh city centre. Both are popular for recreation and offer various sport and fitness facilities including basketball courts, tennis courts, bowling greens and football pitches.
