Double parking, 4th January
The white car belongs to a neighbour and she regularily double parks and blocks other vehicles in. Today it is my vehicle. She lives at lumley terrace. This has been ongoing for the 3 years I have lived here and she has been blocking me in for a few hours today.

Light unit no longer facing traffic, 24th July
Full traffic light unit has swivelled on its mounting pivot and is no longer facing the traffic approaching the roundabout from Blind Lane. The unit affected is reported to be "on" the roundabout. No information as to how long this has been affected.

Temporary traffic lights, 7th September
Stuck on red in both directions.tailbacks being caused.

Traffic light sign, 8th August
The traffic light sign is put infront of 2 driveways . When lights are on red the traffic will be blocking both driveways .. my husband will be pulling trailer and if the drive is blocked he won't be able to get onto drive this will cause total blockage on road !! Surely common sense is ruled out !!!

Smashed bus stop, 1st May
Bus stop has been crashed into, no vehicles present but there is glass all over the road, will cause an accident if not cleaned as people sudden breaking as approaching or swerving onto oncoming traffic

Traffic Light signal not working, 11th October
There is a set of lights approaching Shields Road from the A1 north slip road (I think the sticker said O1 or Q1 on it) are not working. The rest of the signals are but the one for those at the front of the queue coming from the underpass cannot always see when the signal changes.

Cars parking right on junction, 15th June
Cars are parking millimeters from tge junction causing poor visibility and accidents. You have to pull out in to the middle of the main road before you can even see if a car is coming.

Bollards missing preventing cars from access, 19th December
There used to be two bollards situated under the viaduct which prevented vehicles from driving down towards Bede court, as this is a pedestrian area. They have not been there for some time, allowing vehicles access to the pedestrian footpath. This is dangerous as well as allowing criminals access to the back of bede court to commit burglaries and easy escape. This has been an on-going issue for some years. Could we not have metal fencing under the viaduct like Avondale terrace has which would prevent this?

Dumped fridge freezer, 22nd August
A fridge freezer has been dumped in the bushes behind the housing estate advertising board on North Approach near the junction with the Avenues.

Bollard missing, 21st August
The bollard preventing vehicles from driving down the pedestrian walk way has been damaged and is now missing. This is allowing vehicles to drive down the pedestrian walk way. Also could metal fencing be erected within the viaduct itself to prevent motorbikes from driving through, one day someone will be run over and hurt. The viaduct further along towards the railway station has these, and they have no issues.
