This is the last street light on the southbound stretch on Main Street, Closeburn. The lights new fitting has created extremely broad radius of light through its surrounding houses. If the council feel this light is essential then may it at least have a capped or hooded cover so that the light source is directed towards the path/Road as intended.

Pothole which has been reported several times to Dumfries and Galloway council but they keep closing the case but pothole has never been fixed., 3rd March
I have reported this pothole several times now over last few months and it still remains.

14 inch hole depth 8 inches, 4th February
Pothole getting bigger everyday it is right outside my house. the constant thump thump is one nightmare day and night the house shudders when hgv`s go by not doing 40mph

Pothole getting larger., 30th January
Pothole right next to pavement. As you come round the corner you have cars parked on left hand side so unless you have space to go wide you will go through pothole. It's appeared a while ago but lately got a lot bigger.

Pothole B731, 23rd March
Large pohole on B731 just before turn off to Kirkbog Farm heading towards Penpont. Hole is covered by water so you don't notice it. Just gone down it. Another repair bill
