Cars driving down middle of road to avoid the holes, sooner or later there will be a serious accident caused by the holes. A Number of large potholes have appeared on this stretch since the recent snowfalls and ice, some of these are of a significant width and depth and could cause damage to vehicle tyres, wheels and suspension.
Under current weather conditions they are easily hidden under standing water and difficult for drivers to see them during the dark mornings and evenings.
