FIXMYSTREET IN DL1 3EF
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of DL1 3EF:
Mercedes van parked causing a blind-spot, 8th November
I'd like to draw attention to a recurring issue involving a Mercedes van that is regularly parked at the intersection of Camborne Drive and the beginning of Helston Close. The consistent presence of this van is causing a potential safety hazard as it obstructs the view, leading to near accidents.
A significant number of residents in our area share these concerns, as this parked van creates a blind spot for drivers trying to navigate in and out of Helston Close. As a resident of Helston Close, the constant presence of the Mercedes van at the Camborne Drive junction leaves me consistently apprehensive about the potential risks.
We kindly request that the parking of this van in this specific location be reconsidered. Our collective safety is at risk, and we hope that taking action now can help avert any potential accidents that may result from this ongoing issue.

Tiny Forest trees, 27th March
Noticed these trees today in the Footie Dene and on a bench in the Tiny Forest eclosure. I assume they'd been pulled up and dumped.
Moved the ones from the bench to the enclosure but didn't replant as didn't want to walk on the area. Perhaps someone who is involved with the project could check it.

Parking on main road obscuring driver view from junction, 23rd March
243 Highway code: two vehicles constantly park illegally at junction obstructing drivers ability to view traffic on the main road. This illegal parking is also dangerous because vehicles on the major road cannot see cars on the junction exiting Princess Road. In addition there is an exit to two busy businesses, The White Horse public house and Croxdale Tyre Centre on Burtree Lane. This issue has been occurring for at least the last twenty years and no action has been taken. I have raised this issue previously but after another near miss accident today I will be raising this issue again until some suitable action is taken.
