Piling rubbish and rats attracted, 29th October

Thu, 29 Oct 2020 17:58:59 +0000
52.407753 -1.496311

Hi team. This bin belongs to students in flat 1 (European) and they have been asked to take the bin in over 3 weeks ago but refused. People are piling rubbish inside bins and next to it. Upon inspection in the back area the students have piled rubbish on top of bins and on the floor. This is now attracting rats. They are reminded weekly of bin collections but they reuse to take out/in the bins

Bushes overgrown, 11th October

Sun, 11 Oct 2020 16:20:31 +0100
52.399499 -1.504606

Bushes are overgrown and forcing people to have to walk in the road to get passed which is not safe. This has been reported on many occasions now and nothing seems to be done about it. The bushes are now encroaching onto the footway by a good couple of feet. I was told when I first reported this that the council don't trim bushes during nesting season - we are now a good few months since this ended. I also keep being told that this will be looked at within 5 to 10 days, its now been many months since I first reported this and I nothing has been done.

Damaged manhole in middle of road, 28th September

Mon, 28 Sep 2020 16:54:22 +0100
52.398506 -1.522659

The cover of the manhole is damaged. Every time a car or bus drives over it the cover lifts from the casement and then noisily clunks back down. It is a hazard, particularly for cyclists and a disaster waiting to happen. I reported this to the Coventry Council a month ago and again this evening. My previous submission of the problem has not been acknowledged or addressed.

Mattress left blocking pavement near school, 25th September

Fri, 25 Sep 2020 21:24:45 +0100
52.400799 -1.530969

Old mattress and dangerous piles of rubble and debris. Been there over a week outside 128 Earlsdon Ave next to Earlsdon Primary. Was blocking pavement completely but now parents have moved over themselves. Makes busy school drop offs difficult and quite frankly unsafe with children, scooters, bikes and pushchairs etc. Builders currently working at no128 have been asked to dispose of it, but have refused saying itís been dumped by woman two doors up.
