Parking on double yellow lines., 21st April

Sat, 21 Apr 2018 17:24:22 +0100
51.759203 -3.286107

Every morning for about 20 weeks maybe more a 4x4 car parks from 7:10 to about 8:30 on double yellow lines and blocks the view of people walking accross the road as there is a sharp bend. Reason i'm bring this up as i witness a child nearly being run over i had to grab the child to avoid the child being hit as he could not see as his view was obstructed by the 4x4 car. It parks there every morning on the weekdays. i'm reporting this as i feel something should be done about this persons illegal parking. As i don't want to see a child being run over and it scared me half to death.

This street is used as a race track all times of the day and night we have a new entrance to the school car park, children crossing the roads at all times, the speed humps don't slow anyone down. They need moving ,is it going to take a death before something is done about the speed people do..

Shop clearance fly tipped on disused railway line, 23rd January

Sat, 23 Jan 2016 12:08:52 +0000
51.74699 -3.304895

It looks as though a shop has been cleared and dumped on the disused railway line above Fochriw. There are a number of large gas cannisters and two very large piles of waste which includes a great deal of correspondence to a man from Ynysddu who I will not name in here but I am sure the council could trace the individual.

51.751257 -3.27507

The steps outside my house there is a bush full of over hanging branches which is blocking the path of residents on the street as they go up the steps, it is a real bother to me as when I leave my house at 7:30 or whenever I go out I have to push back the bush to be able to get past, the bush as been over grown for many weeks and it would be much appreciated if it gets sorted so my self and other residents don't that to have branches in our face when we walk up the steps

Oil Substance On Public Pathway Behind The Church, 11th September

Thu, 11 Sep 2014 16:44:31 +0100
51.74607169681 -3.2795212048395

Many weeks ago there was a problem with a oil substance leaking out on to the public foot path at behind church next to chuch street in pontlotyn. CCBC had sent a surveyor up to have a look at it but still nothing has been done to resolve this substantial matter and it is getting a cause of concern and a huge health and saftey risk as when I was walking through pontlotyn to the train station I fell over due to this cause. And all that has been done is cones to notify people not to walk there but then they are going to be walking on to a road which in the morning when everyone is going to work can be herendous!

Orange oil/sludge watery substance leaking onto footpath., 17th July

Thu, 17 Jul 2014 01:07:45 +0100
51.7459848539941 -3.27947369444286

At the bottom of St.Tyfaelog Parish Church there is a watery/sludge mixed with possible oil leaking onto footpath. This messy substance is leaking from a perimeter wall onto the footpath causing the footpath to be wet and slippery. This is extremely dangerous as pedestrians walk on the road to avoid the substance, this has been present for 1/2 years now. CCBC have been out approximately 4 times to clean the footpath (after being informed by local residents) but approximately 3-4 hours later the substance is back on the footpath. I am aware the church know about this issue but they seem reluctant to solve the problem. Unfortunately behind the wall where the substance is leaking out of there is a pool of water forming the lower level of the church yard into a marsh land. The wall also doesn't seem safe and could potentially collapse if subsequently exposed to more of the water (the pool rises when there is an heavy down poor but doesn't dissipate). This could be potentially fatal to any pedestrian who is walking on the watery/sludgy footpath. It would be greatly appreciated if something could be done about this problem because it's becoming a nuisance.
