Drain blocked, 10th April

Wed, 10 Apr 2024 14:16:11 +0100
51.449958 -2.61095

The drain in this location has been blocked for more than one year, such that water pools on top and does not drain away, and the gutter for a distance of several metres either side is full of water, which similarly does not drain away for a long time after rainfall.

Some of the trees appear to be in bad health., 9th April

Tue, 09 Apr 2024 19:46:04 +0100
51.432523 -2.586296

Last year a couple of trees browned off and branches fell. A tree fell into the neighbours fence and ruined it. I have a garden office which backs onto the area and is being interfered with over growth . There is also fly tipping from time gone by. The trees are very tall and will only continue to grow. The area has got worse over the 7 years I have lived here. With ever changing weather conditions I believe these will become a greater hazard.I know this may seem a few issues but please can someone inspect the area. I live at 84 wedmore vale. Kind regards

Dangerous overgrown Yew tree - impacting its boundary wall, a danger to public pathway and encroachment of a neighbouring property, 9th April

Tue, 09 Apr 2024 11:17:17 +0100
51.45352 -2.613952

This issue was raised to BCC Fix My Street originally back in November 2023 and wasn't actioned by the council reference 5193244 PLEASE can someone attend to this Tree urgently. The wall is clearly now at risk of collapsing and the Yew Tree's continued growth of branch overhangs are affecting the public pathway of Clifton Hill and its encroaching on neighbouring property Bishop's House. When it rains heavily it appears the weighted branches could break!

Inconsiderate parking in council car park behind Waring House flats, 9th April

Tue, 09 Apr 2024 09:38:09 +0100
51.447045 -2.592056

Despite the proliferation of no parking notices on the garages under Waring House, there are cars parked in front of these which are obstructing our legal route of access into the parking yard behind no's 10 - 14 Guinea Street. This was reported to the caretaker this morning and a note was left on the offending vehicle but the parking situation here is ridiculous - there are cars parked on double yellow lines and double parked in the spaces that are available. If there was a fire in the flats access for the firefighters would be a real issue.

Light too bright, 8th April

Mon, 08 Apr 2024 23:47:01 +0100
51.444463 -2.606767

This street light was changed a couple of years ago for a smaller light to reduce the light pollution entering the rear of 32 and 33 Howard Road rear bedrooms and gardens. This light has all of a sudden become very bright again, I think it’s been changed for a brighter light. Please can it be reverted back to the reduced lamp as this floods bedrooms with significant amounts of light at the back of the house due to the angle of Beauley road to the rear of these houses. Thank you.
