The puddle here goes across the road. It has been there so long there is slime on the bottom of it, particularly on the north side. This road is mainly used by cyclist for whom this is very dangerous. Two of our group came off.

Temporary roadwork sign abandoned, 5th July
A large temporary portable electronic road traffic sign on a portable hook up trailer with wheels has been left in vegetation just off the road for 6-9 months after A27 carriageway work. It is owned by Highways England has a large sign with MVIS and number 7 on the back. It is approximately 4 metres wide by 2 metres high and needs to be taken back to the depot.

Series of potholes close to drain covers, 27th March
Every Drain cover on this section of road has a big pothole next to it. On my car with small wheels I have to avoid by going into the centre of the road. This has been like this for weeks and needs urgent repair.

Unmanned road closures, 20th March
All access roads to and from the A27 are blocked and several unmanned. For residents this is utter pain as the roads are closing far too early (9pm) many local farmers are still working late and need to get access to fields and farms which have been blocked off. Please leave enough space for us to drive round with tractor and trailer. We will respect the staff and drive slowly if you leave access to our farms.

Continuing flooding, 29th November
For weeks this has been flooded.
I’m unable to drive my car thru it often as it gets so deep.
Works were done in the summer - and now the drainage from the field has disappeared.
No one seems to be remedying this - please help.

Missing Bus stop - A27 Firle Bostal, 1st August
This bus stop on the Lewes Bound side of the carriageway is now missing. the stop serves the 11x, 25 Bloomsbury service and a local service the 125. The stop is called Firle Bostal and the Stop ID: esuamtgp
Please can this be restored asap. it was there a few years ago but now is gone. the stop that is on the Eastbourne bound side of the road is still there.

No change of speed limit sign in one direction, 26th June
Heading west, the 50mph limit increases to 60mph and there are temporary 'national speed limit' signs on frames either side of the road, but eastbound there is nothing to show the start of the 50mph limit. The first indication is a smaller 'repeater' sign some distance to the east. I noted this two weeks ago (Sunday 12th June) and it is the same today.
