Large pothole opposite crumbling road edge, 11th March
The very large pothole was filled in last year but has reopened in the last month and is now bigger. To get around it you are forced off the edge of the road as it’s a single track lane. The edge now is broken and deep. A rough sharp edge has been formed. This means the road is becoming impassable without damaging cars

Near to a track and building, 6th March
I would describe it more of a crater than a pothole as it takes up most of the width of the road, with various depths, mainly as other potholes are beginning to merge It is hazardous for cyclists and motorist have been driving on the verge to try and avoid it.

Road Flooding, 4th March
Just North of the BT exchange, the road now flood during rainfall and stays flooded for a couple of days afterwards with no rain. Appears the field to the East of the road is flooding over the road. According to the Gov flood map we have not had any rain in the last 24h, yet this is still flooded.

Ditch not draining effectively, 20th February
The ditch that runs between the entrance to the car park down to the foot path behind Field View never drains properly. When it rains, the water floods over the road and path, and stays there for a long time after the rain stops. Unsure where the ditch is meant to go.

Pothole middle of road., 20th February
Pothole is located centrally, so has to be avoided if you are heading in either direction. The location is roughly inline with where the trees end, next to the cricket pitch You can't really miss it!
Arguably, that whole bit needs resurfacing, even though there is one specific hole that is bad.

Surface deterioration ., 17th February
There is now a sunken patch on the edge of an already poor stretch of road . This is on a bend and is bad enough to unseat the rider of a PTW . This really isn't good enough - the authority responsible must act promptly to avoid potential RTA's.

Sunken ,cracked, worn out., 26th January
The surface condition here represents a serious threat to the safety of all traffic but in particular users of single-track vehicles . 300 ish metres of northbound A22 requires scalping and resurfacing. Currently marked for a single patch which is wholly inadequate.

Just down from Coopers Cottage, opposite field gate, 7th January
During any substantial rain fall, this part of the road floods over pretty severely. As I understand it, there is a culvert that runs under the road, from the properly towards the fields, where the water should run. I think this is blocked as instead in runs over the road, and builds up causing a flood.

Carriageway broken up and deeply rutted, 20th November
I have reported this before. There is now one deep pothole which could damage tyres and even axles. It is an ongoing problem and putting a dab of tarmac in one hole will not solve it. The surface needs renewing. It's only about 20 yards long. We have waited years. It's time something was done. All locals swerve to the right at this corner going up Burgh Hill Road and risk hitting a car speeding round the corner, to reduce damage to our cars

Spooky plastic type road hump on bridleway, 10th April
As shown in the attached photograph there has been placed a plastic type road hump across a bridleway. My friend and I had a tricky time trying to get our horses over it. It is very spooky to horses as it is coloured and shiny. This sort of thing is not usually found in the countryside. Also as you can see from the photo there are scaffolding type poles along the edge of the grass which can also be dangerous to horses should they spook and land on one.
