The area is also home to many parks and nature reserves, such as the Boatswain's Ponds and the Lancing Ring Nature Reserve. There are also plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and other leisure activities to choose from.

The postcode district has excellent educational facilities with a variety of primary and secondary schools in the area, as well as the University of Chichester's campus, which is just a few miles away.
