It is also a popular seaside holiday destination, with a wide range of attractions including the bustling 'Fish Market' market, the Mount Pavilion theatre and many museums, galleries, shops and cafes.

Cleveleys is a seaside resort situated adjacent to Thornton and the larger town of Blackpool. It features a wide range of attractions, including Sea Creatures, an aquarium and the Sea Life Centre. It also offers an extensive programme of festivals and events throughout the year.

Poulton-le-Fylde is a market town in the Borough of Wyre, located between Blackpool and Garstang. It lies on the River Wyre and is well-known for its vibrant market town atmosphere, with a wide range of independent shops and long-established businesses.

Thornton-Cleveleys is a small town in the Borough of Wyre, located in between Fleetwood and Poulton-le-Fylde. It is traditionally associated with the fishing industry, as well as manufacturing, engineering and distribution. It is home to an impressive collection of historic sites, representing several centuries of local history.

Rossall is a hamlet situated in the Borough of Wyre. It is best known for being the birthplace of Alf Mason, a legendary 19th century pirate, and for its award-winning golf course and country park.

Rossall Point is an area of outstanding natural beauty which overlooks the Irish Sea. It is the perfect spot to take in stunning views of the Lancashire coastline and to explore the array of wildlife which inhabits the area.
